NeoMagic announced the release of a new family of “systems-in-a-chip” (SoC) designed to create mobile devices based on them with Internet access. The MiMagic NMS7040 chips combine a 32-bit RISC processor (MIPS32 4Kc core), onboard DRAM (4 MB, 256-bit bus), a USB controller (three USB 1.1), as well as tools to support graphic and audio input / output of information and work with video – all in one microcircuit.
