West Virginia vs. Microsoft.

West Virginia’s attorney general filed a lawsuit against Microsoft today, alleging that the corporation violates some antitrust and consumer protection laws. Claim filed on behalf of West Virginia consumers and state executives seeking damages (as yet undetermined) and corporation sanctions. West Virginia is one of nine states that refused to agree with the US Department of Justice decision. In addition, the attorney general said he would advise state residents to refrain from Microsoft’s settlement plan.
