Feb 20,  · This material only drops from Crota on Hard Mode and is used to upgrade the Eidolon Ally to the Necrochasm. The Crux has been confirmed to drop, I’ve seen it . Put it on a weekly rotation not unlike Nightfalls. Give it special team challenges present only in this game mode specific to the maps in rotation. Give it the option for a hard mode with its own loot and special set of challenges to overcome. Perhaps even create special weapons that only drop from this particular mode for people to chase. What’s with the new Crusoe from Transmeta?

Several months after Transmeta announced the new economical Crusoe 5800 processor, it still hasn’t appeared in mass quantities. The reason is explained in Transmeta by the fact that the chip needs to pass an additional number of tests to ensure reliability, or, as one of the developers said, the “long-term functionality” of the product.

And here is what they say about the mass production at TSMC, which, as you know, will produce a new processor: “The product has already gone through several complex modifications, which other customers are not doing. [The processor] contains some unique technological elements. Nevertheless, there are no problems with the start of production on our part.”The product, they said, is likely to go into production this quarter.

Meanwhile, analysts are beginning to worry about such delays. Announced by Transmeta back on June 25, the Crusoe 5800 was already announced as “immediately available” at a price of $ 198 per chip in lots of 1,000 pieces. Transmeta’s current explanation, they say, was about trial batches in June, already commented by the notorious Joe Osha, an analyst at Merrill Lynch: “I’m surprised that” immediately available at $ 198 “does not mean the start of mass shipments.”In his opinion, the reason for the delay in the supply of the chip lies, quite possibly, in the design of the processor, namely, in the power consumption.

However, the first notebooks with the Crusoe 5800 are still expected this year. With a high degree of probability, the chip will operate at a clock frequency of 600-700 MHz, and the 1 GHz barrier is planned to be reached in the first quarter of 2021. Source: CNet
