Samsung Electronics Announces Shipment of the World’s First Engineering Designs of 1 Gigabit NAND Flash Memory Chips Based on 0.12um Process.

Initially, Samsung’s 1Gb NAND flash chips will be released in 3.3V versions with an 8-bit I / O bus; at the beginning of 2021 there will be samples with a power supply of 1.8 V and a 16-bit I / O interface. Mass production also starts at the very beginning of 2021.
