About NVIDIA GeForce4 chips

As usual, long before the official presentation of new products, fragmentary information about the line of NVIDIA GeForce4 chips, expected in the new 2021, began to appear on the web. So what they say, what they write?

The line of cards based on the new chips is rumored to look like this:

  • GeForce4 Ti1000 (High-End) – 128-bit memory interface, up to 128 MB DDR SDRAM with a clock frequency of up to 350 (700) MHz, core frequency – up to 350 MHz, possibly support for the AGP 8x standard
  • GeForce4 Ti500 (Mainstream) – 128-bit memory interface, up to 128 MB DDR SDRAM with a clock frequency of up to 300 (600) MHz, core frequency – up to 300 MHz
  • GeForce4 MX Pro (mainstream) – 128-bit memory interface, up to 64 MB DDR SDRAM @ up to 300 (600) MHz, core frequency up to 250 MHz
  • GeForce4 MX (Low-End) – supposedly, there will be two versions: one – up to 64 MB DDR SDRAM with a clock frequency of up to 275 (550) MHz, the second – up to 64 MB of regular SDRAM with a clock frequency of up to 250 MHz, the core frequency of both versions – up to 250 MHz

That’s all the “data”, except that all the cards will supposedly have TV and DVI outputs.
