Taiwanese chipset manufacturers – ALi, VIA and SiS, according to some analysts in the US and not only, run “ahead of the locomotive” with DDR333 support. Intel just recently released a chipset that supports DDR266.
Analysts agree that as long as Intel focuses on support for DDR200 / DDR266, there will be little sense in introducing the PC2700, and there will be no mass adaptation yet.
