New line of motherboards from Supermicro

Supermicro, renowned for its server motherboards, has announced a complete line of server solutions based on Pentium III processors, including the new “Tualatin” core, with clock speeds of 1.13 GHz or more. The line includes five new server solutions.

The combination of Supermicro P3T series boards with three 1U server chassis (6011H, 6011D and 6011L) provides an optimized and efficient heat dissipation solution. Motherboards for these chassis – P3TDER (pictured), P3TDDR and P3TDLR, respectively, based on chipsets from ServerWorks, use SDRAM (P3TDER and P3TDLR) or DDR RAM (P3TDDR).

2U options: 6021H also uses P3TDER motherboard and 6021I uses P3TDDE motherboard.

In total, announced dual-processor motherboards P3TDL3, P3TDLE, P3TDLR, P3TDDR, P3TDDE, P3TDDA, P3TDE6 and P3TDER, as well as single-processor models P3TSSR, P3TSSA and P3TSDA.
