EPoX: plans for the 3rd quarter

According to the information received at our disposal, in the near future EPoX will release several new motherboards for Intel Pentium 4 and Pentium III Tualatin processors, as well as expand the line of motherboards for AMD processors.

For fans of Intel processors, there are lines of motherboards based on i815EP and VIA Pro133 chipsets, to which will be added motherboards with Tualatin support: 3PTA on i815EPB, 3VSA and 3VSM on VIA Pro133T, and integrated 3ETM on i815EB (i752) and 3WTM on PLE133T (heir to 3VWW Trident Blade 3D on board).

Delivery of Socket 370 motherboards with DDR support will begin in August: 3VHA on VIA Pro266 and its version with Tualatin support – 3VTAL.

At the end of the third quarter EPoX also plans to release two motherboards for Socket478 Pentium 4 on i845: 4B2A and 4B2A2. EPoX plans to include motherboards based on the VIA PX266 chipset: 4VXA (Socket 423) and 4VXA2 (Socket 478), the release date will be announced later. Currently only one EPoX board for Pentium 4 is available – 4T2A on i850.

For Athlon / Duron based systems, EPoX offers a wide selection from low cost to high end motherboards. Among motherboards with support for DDR memory, 8KHA and 8KHM on VIA KT266 will be added to the already available 8K7A + on AMD 760 at the end of July.

The classic mainstream is represented by numerous modifications of the popular 8KTA3: now this line has been replenished with new products for “extreme racers”: 8KTA3 Pro and 8KTA3 Pro + with an EIDE RAID controller on board (FSB frequency changes in 1 MHz steps, the maximum possible value is 168 MHz), according to tradition the board is equipped with a POST indicator.

Economy class for AMD processors are represented by motherboards with integrated video 8KLM2 (S3 Savage 4) and 8KEM (Trident Blade 3D).
